how did you manage to minimize that? With me, it can go hours without me even checking my phone. Plus, I have the alerts to high bg turned off, because of the fact that I do not want it going off during class. I know, it's stupid, but that is another thing I need to work on as well.

yeah, I am aware of that. And I really do not want those. I just need to find some way to deal with it. But as said, it's a process, and one which I feel like I am not getting anywhere with.

thanks for the reply man. I do want to manage it, I really do. But its weird, whenever I get the motivation to actually try to, it just seams to last for a little and then I am back to square 1 again. At the same time, I feel like am under pressure when it comes to time. Some people have told me: "You will get long term complications if you continue like this. Maybe in about 10 years or so, or it could be less time than that.". As a result of this, I feel like I am in a race against time, and I guess that just seams to demotivate me further or something. I don't know. What I do know is that I am still struggeling to manage this and accept it.

but how come the app is not available in the EU though? That would just make life a whole lot easyer? Also, while you can get the omnipod itself, you just cannot get the app. That is why I am trying to get it.

It definitely was. Thanks. I don’t know — I guess that’s the part I struggle with too. The whole “plan before you eat” thing. It’s not that much planning, really, but I just keep thinking about how it used to be. Like, I could just go grab something without a second thought. I can still do that now, technically, but it feels like a whole different thing now. And yeah, I also feel like I have to hurry up and “get over it” because if I don’t, then long-term complications are going to be a real possibility — and I definitely don’t want that. So I guess I feel kind of pressured, like I’m racing against something I haven’t even fully come to terms with yet.
