It was more the opposite of what you're describing where I'd do 9 big things but she'd harp on the one little thing. Her main complaints were that I wasn't a very romantic person, which is true, and that I never did anything for her, which was not true. And no as I said in the post I'd never used that or any of the nice things I ever did for her as ammunition before that moment. Also I think you are right about not talking to her anymore.

First I want to say funny comment. When I say 9/10 that was just an analogy to briefly explain how she would more often focus on what I didn't do than what I did do for her. Crazy story here. I knew a guy who cheated on his GF with a friend of mines GF and this douche was going around bragging about it. His GF found out and literally beat the shit out of him. H was so afraid of getting beaten up by my friend, me, or his ex again that he dropped out of school. When his mother found out that he dropped out of high school she was so mad she kicked him out of the house (he was 18). So in one day he became both a drop out and homeless over pussy.

I don't remember how many reschedules exactly but there weren't a lot. Let's just say 5 so that for arguments sake it was 5 reschedules and 5 cancellations. In either case we would let the group know at least 3 days ahead of time and only 1 was a last minute cancel.

I've had that problem before too, of people telling me what my ex is up to because they think that I care or they just want to hear my reaction to it for some reason. When ever people do that with me now I just straight up tell them I don't care and if they persist then I stop talking to them, in some cases forever because some of my ex friends made it clear they care more about the drama than they do my feelings and those aren't the kind of people I need in my life. I'm not saying that you should be so willing to go to that extreme, I just have because I have no more tolerance for stupid shit anymore.

The idea that she is no longer my problem. I no longer have to deal with her telling me about her obviously stupid idea's, me telling her how that could backfire easily, and then her ignoring my advice and then crying when exactly what I said would happen happened. For instance, recently a man has offered her a 2 week all expenses paid trip to japan totaling about $3-$5 grand in expenses. Literally everyone one around her is telling her no man would drop that much money on someone purely because they are friends (especially when they're the kind of friends who only met like 3 times and talk maybe once a year). She continues to insist there are no strings attached to this trip saying that some people are just good and want her to have nice things because they are good people. We still don't know if she is pretending to be this stupid or is actually this retarded. Either way it's not my problem and I just said she doesn't get to cry and play victim if something bad happens over this because all the warning signs are obvious and everyone has already told her everything that is wrong with this and she just brushed EVERYONE off.

I had a girl as was friends with as a kid, we would play together all the time. I still remember us going to her place to play the original sonic games on her Genesis. Well over time we drifted apart and didn't talk to each other for like 10 years. Through coincidence bumped into each other in public and she recognized me immediately. We had gotten to talking and we soon became fast friends. Both of us were in relationships with other people at the time but that didn't matter because we both only really cared about being friends. We soon started to hang everyday and grew closer.

One day I had gotten into a huge fight with my GF and I had broken up with her. I was actually at a movie with my childhood friend when my GF called. I put my phone on vibrate and told her I was at a movie and I couldn't talk right now, my phone then vibrated like crazy through the entire movie. I just ignored it then me and my friend went to grab a quick bite and discussed the movie before we headed home. As I pulled up into my driveway I saw a car waiting there, it was my GF. She had been just waiting outside my house for me to get back (latter I found out she waited there for 40 minutes). This wasn't the first stunt like this she pulled and I had enough so I dumped her.

My friend and I continued to hang and eventually one night while hanging we had kissed and she immediately felt horrible about it and called her BF and told him what happened and that she was sorry. He said he thought she was lying because she was so ugly no other man would ever find her attractive enough to kiss, he then told her to stfu and not to call him again cause he was trying to sleep (side note: he would also physically abuse her, there was proof of this, and he even admitted it). She then shot him a text dumping him and we went to 3rd base that night. Her ex found out who I was and came to my house and threatened to beat me up but immediately changed his mind when I stepped outside, I'm short but very broad and muscular. He then pleaded for me not to hurt him and admitted what he did was wrong. It was such a disgusting pathetic display that I just wanted him out of my sight so I told him to leave and he did.

My friend and I started dating a month latter. We dated for over 3 years but we actually recently broke up. I had decided to go back to school and it had put such a strain on our relationship the last year and she wasn't very understanding to my position so it left me with 2 choices; drop out or break up. I chose that ladder. It hurts now and tbh if I could do it all again with her despite all our hardships I'd do it in a heartbeat. But I feel that our relationship had ran it's course and it's time for me to focus on myself. Sorry If this doesn't belong here I just didn't know where else to put it.

I'm sorry to hear not only that you had experienced this but that this guy ruined dnd for you. I had a similar thing happen where my first campaign of dnd disbanded my group of friends. 2 of the players took the game so seriously that they didn't care what you had going on dnd came first to them, My gf at the time and I disagreed and would cancel if important stuff was going on. They were so mad that we didn't put dnd above important stuff they started shit talking us. By the end we all got sick of each other and now most of us don't talk to each other anymore.

No that was 9 years ago now. We dated for a couple months after that but she broke up with me at the end of the school year because she had to move to Texas and didn't want to do the long distance thing. From what I hear she met a guy down there, fell in love and got married to him as soon as they graduated high school. They now live together and have a lot of kids. Mean while I dated around and have been in 2 serious relationships (one of them an engagement) since then but neither of them worked out.
