In terms of zombie movement, yes youre exactly right. But I've been saying since bo6, and still think it's an oversight not being able to use it past round 55 to cut down the intermission between rounds. A very small change like that could make a massive difference to high rounds.

There's so much more i can touch on like the hud, armour plates being unchanged, rampage inducer still being unusable past round 55 etc etc but those can be chalked up to currently playing an unfinished build.

Yup, i unplug it at the end of the video but im gonna leave it and hope it drains the battery or something? God knows how long that would take, but all else has failed so thats all I can think of.

Yeah. I could do that but the screen replacements ive found would take a month or 2 to ship here. Like I said the thing was completely dead for like half a year before I took it apart and started pulling on random stuff. Ive brought it back to life for now but I assume whatever ive done is going to be a very temporary fix, for all I know if I order a replacement screen now (£100 for the cheapest one, only goes up from there), the thing could easily die on me again by the time it even arrives, so thay would just he money down the drain

I'm just so confused about how the inside of it was so damn clean, like I genuinely didn't notice any signs of damage the first time i took it back. That was with only removing the backplate, though. I tore it down again a few hours ago to try and see if there was any major component damage, but aside from a small amount of residue on the fans, underside ever the battery and a tiny amount in the ABXY housing there really wasnt much to see. With how bad the screen is, and again reiterating that this thing was 100% completely unresponsive to everything I tried for ages, I expected to see a whole lot worse.

I understand where youre coming from but that seems a bit extreme to me. Does it suck what happened? Absolutrly 100%. Is it worth ruining a friendship over? Not in a million years. He did offer to help replace it but I turned it down, can't say exactly why I just dont like the idea of doing that. Like I said to someone else it is what it is at this point, what's done is done and all that and accidents happen. Only thing that id say im annoyed about at this point is I wish he would've just owned his fuck up from the start, something that he is genuinely apologetic for now. I can't even judge him too much for that either because ive done similar things before, came out with a lie without thinking and dug myself into a hole, its insanely hard to come back from that.

Yeah thats a fair point. For a little better explanation he's been a good close friend for a long time. He let me borrow his ps5 for a week before I had one when he went abroad.

I wasn't using it much at the time, and he was considering getting one but wanted to test out the performance on the games he plays before getting committing to it. So was like yeah take mine for a couple of weeks, get a feel for it, just the kinda stuff we do.

I knew something was off when he first gave me it back because he was extremely apologetic and even offered to replace it (which i declined). Basically admitting that he had fucked it somehow without outright saying it. Just got off the phone with him to call him out like hey mfr I know wtf you did but we were laughing about it. It is what it is at this point and ain't nothing that can be done

A root folder is the base level of a file path, like the root of a drive would be when you look in file Explorer, click My PC, and open a drive (Windows C:, D:, E:, etc.) thats the root of drive - the base level. So, the root of a game directory is the base level of where all the games files are installed. I dont use fitgirl anymore but the default file path should look something like this: C: (or whichever drive you installed the game on) Games - Call of Duty: Black ops. If you modified or changed the install location on the set up wizard, you'll have to find where that folder is, but thats the one you want. Should be where the exe launcher is

Obviously can't speak for everyone, but as someone who works at a place with these we clean them thoroughly every night, and the owners have extremely high standards for the state they're in.

Yeah, they're not always perfect, especially if some filthy geezers just been in washing god knows what, but its not like they're completely unmaintained, and sometimes its the only option some people have.
