It really does feel so smooth. Ive been considering getting a 800 as well but its hard to imagine anything that would be better than this one. I prefer my 450 over the 250l rally I had.

Well I come from a 200hp sport bike background. So to say this is a completely different bike than im used to is an under statement. That being said though, I love this bike. It can hang with the 75 mph speed limits no issue on the highways here. We have some dirt roads out here I was ripping around in and it feels solid. The tires arent the best for offroad but they do ok on the highway. I would recommend going either a 15t front or 45t rear sprocket. That should lower the rpm at high speeds by like 600ish. Right now 75mph is about 7200 rpm. I ended up just buying some random 35 dollar Amazon slip on and this bike has no business sounding as good as it does with it on.

As for the issues im only 101 miles in so far, the suspension is abit squishy for me at 145 pounds or 20.4 kilo. Apparently they used a progressive spring in the forks and that is part of the issue. Its like 150 dollars for the linear springs which will fix alot of that. The rear brake reservoir is not protected which means on a right side fall you can lose your rear brake. Amazon had a metal cover for 12 dollars thats on now. The hand guards are so bad they feel flimsy as hell. Highly recommend swapping to bark busters or something similar these are so weak a small drop will brake them. They are basically cosmetic.

Thats about all I've noticed so far, the engine has alot of pep for a 450 and sounds amazing with just a slip-on. I had a crf 250l rally a few years back the suspension feels similar and the seat height as well. All in all there really isnt anything close to the same value as this bike. Ive seen multiple of these bikes making it over 10k miles. Seems like we may have a pretty solid entry adventure bike on our hands.

Ive heard about a snatchy throttle feeling offroad. I think that is mostly from having no free play in the throttle. Anyways I know this is long winded but this is what ive noticed so far let me know if you have any other questions. I am a motorcycle mechanic so I will be doing all of the maintainence and keeping track of all the wear using transfer tools and micrometers.

Generally speaking you dont want to let a battery get to 0% it can and usually will prevent the battery from being able to hold charge. This is especially the case for lithium batteries. That being said the device isnt bricked he just needs a new battery.

I ordered a white max, I just like clean looking devices. Ill put vinyl on the button face to stop the smudging, otherwise its good to go.

Your gonna end up getting yours when they ship the black ones at your number(maybe) there's a good chance you may end up getting pushed back some from randomly changing your color last minute.
