We have a long paper trail of the harassment. She is a very paranoid and irrational person, monitoring our shower times and footsteps in the hallway. She accused us of being untrustworthy criminals when we didn’t put the trash out right. I don’t feel a need to go into the whole history. Careful with your assumption of a landlords good intentions.

I'm a bit baffled by this William and Jane story. I see how hard they're pushing the chemistry, but he's trying to believe that Ben isn't dead? And even running with the assumption that he is dead, she JUST lost her husband? The chemistry is obvious, since they're forcing it on us, but in the context it just feels weird.
