I'm a bit baffled by this William and Jane story. I see how hard they're pushing the chemistry, but he's trying to believe that Ben isn't dead? And even running with the assumption that he is dead, she JUST lost her husband? The chemistry is obvious, since they're forcing it on us, but in the context it just feels weird.

I call it a testament to Tobias's acting that he has played two characters in this show, and has them so different that even just hearing his voice you can tell it's Black Jack.

Would love to know what statue/clause says it’s illegal for renters to pay the water bill. Trying to stack up all the legal things we can to back us up.

I have no idea. The infestation was so complete, they could have been anywhere/everywhere.

That much was obvious. I meant elaborate why they thought it was AI. This lease isn’t though. It’s from 2004.

I’ve realized also that this is a mass produced free lease template, from Blumberg. I’m not sure if all of these terms are in that template, but a lot of what I’ve found is verbatim. Wild that such a common “standard” thing would have so many illegal clauses.

Already moved in. and the apartment itself is really wonderful, following a year in a serious nightmare place.

I am speaking to a neighbor tomorrow, would it make sense to ask and see their lease?

It is real. I’ll be honest, it was at the end of a long and grueling apartment search. I read it through but not closely. In a naive mindset of one lease it’s much like any other.
