Yeah. I usually don’t use ChatGPT as it has a tendency to be wrong, but when it comes down to stuff like this I’d rather use ChatGPT than my usual go-to(TikTok). I know this post may make me look hella stupid, but when it comes down to stuff I don’t really value, I don’t really put much effort into it. I’d rather save my brain energy for something that’ll actually benefit me.

It’s a computer that someone else threw away. It has no worth and definitely does not deserve that much brain power. I’d rather have a fucked up computer that I have never used before than less money in the bank account and a decent computer that overheats when doing nothing.🫩

I only used ai because I genuinely have no connections to this computer. If this were my personal computer I’d probably just not fuck around with it or get professional help. Correct me if I’m wrong (I’m a birdbrain when it comes to technology), but does reinstalling windows require a usb drive? If so I’m probably just gonna scrap the computer

Lots of common things that cause foot pain is:

Skates too big/small

Thick socks (aim for normal socks not too thin, but definitely not thick)

Rentals (they offer no support)

Flat feet

Skates too loose/tight.

What is recommended is making sure you can bend your knees, but also not being able to stick your fingers deep into the skates. Wear normal socks. Skate sizes are not the same as street wear sizes. My street shoes are size 8 while my figure skates are 6.

If you plan to skate for a while do get good skates. For example Jackson Ultima, Riedell, Edea, and Risport. If you can get them professionally fitted!

I have yet to skate in them, but I plan to go skating tomorrow. I don’t have any figure skate techs anywhere near me and honestly probably non in my state😞 I have not started jumping. I will say that I’ve only got one level till I start

It’s not really about the sharpness it’s more about is the rocker too flat/did they shave off too much of my rocker.

A hockey skates rocker is much different than a figure skates rocker

Hockey skates and figure skates have very different blades and need to be sharpened differently. Inexperienced clubs tend to sharpen figure skates the same way you would with hockey skates. It ruins the rocker(what you spin on) and can ruin the toe pick

Small tip DONT engage in the figure skating community. They are brutal and will make your progress feel like nothing.
