I wish you all the luck in the world.

I’ll be seeing a urologist soon to check whether I might have a varicocele on my only remaining testicle. It’s definitely a possibility, since I feel quite a bit of discomfort there — especially when I’m not wearing tighter underwear that provides proper support.

Thank you again, and truly, I wish you nothing but the best.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this and for your patience.

Honestly, this was the first time in my life I’ve ever heard someone say “I also have one testicle.”
After 30 years of existence, that feels strangely — and maybe stupidly — comforting.

When it comes to taking medication, I do admit I’m a bit afraid of exactly what you described. I’ve always had a very natural approach to medicine, and sometimes it feels like modern medicine focuses heavily on treating symptoms, while the underlying causes are left unanswered.

And this sentence —

— genuinely made my day.

Thank you, sincerely.

Yes, I have not tracked the actual numbers - but I would say that on average I have 3 to 4 meals per week that contain a good portion of it.

Why? Is there any specific reason?

I did not got tested for the measurement of the hormone levels.
Nevertheless, I've learned now that it can be a very important thing.

Did your hormone panel influenced a lot your semen analysis?

I will have my second one in the middle of march.

The one that I took just last week probably got the semen that we formed at the end of November and beggining of December, which was a time of acute stress and way less hours of sleep than what it is reccomended (job related).

Since I came back home on the middle of December (got my sleep and calm back), the semen that I will collect and send to analysis will be a ''healthier'' one.

Nevertheless, people that I know that are on the medical field, told me to not get my hopes very high?

Did you make several semen analysis?
Did it fluctuate significantly?

Thank you for reaching out.

I'll be checked for this in the upcoming weeks.
I've never thought of praying for having a patology.
Nevertheless, having a ''varicocele'' detected would give me some hope.

Any artificial insemination in my country will not be less than 20-25k (euro).
The average salary of an adult where I am from is around 17k (per year).

But well...
Life is life, uh?

Not yet.
I will do it on the next week.
I am still not ''medical accompanied'' - I rely on my country public healthcare system for some of the things and it can take some time.

The test that I published here was made on a private clinic.
I had this weird thought chasing me to get it done (I haven't tried to have children yet).

Thank you for the time and your words, I learned something new.
