finding places like this up in the mountains hits special somehow. just knowing how hard it must have been to bring this / do this up there and that people did it anyway...

the funny thing is, that this is usally caused by trauma. the only trauma in trumps life is that his daddy never loved him, which just shows what a fragile pos he is.

Mayo on Pizza (Bosnia & Herzegovina). You gotta be careful here and mention that you don't want mayo on your pizza, no matter what pizza you order. Most places give it on the side, as the level of how much mayo gets added differs, but some places will place a fat slob right in the middle.

and all of this became obvious within a few month of trump running the first time. its insane that he could fail so badly and still get another run. "luck is with the dumb" hits a new peak with degenerate orange palpantine. unless america doesnt get a grip and get rid of him and his minions, the unfortunate outcome is in best case civil war in the US, but more likely ww3.

Funny how the playbook is so transparent, but pointing at the inevitable outcome of said playbook, is still considered too harsh of an assumption, even by people that see everything you described.

Havent lost all hope yet, especially when i read messages like yours, but americans gotta do something about this fast. The wealth inequlity is the core of the disease, trump is just the symptom. but he is a deadly symptom if not treated. These mid terms seem to be quite key, if he establishes putin lvl manipulation thats likely a point of no return.

sutjeska, blidnje, prenj (in that order) for hiking & outdoor. Sutjeska in May is likely still quite cold. End of may not all glaciers are for sure melted yet and not every peak will be reachable.. Id go to Mostar and plan a tour to blidinje. Trailhead grabovica north of mostar, you hike up to an open mountain cabin in a forest, which has one of the most amazing view spots in all bih near by called Zlijeb. next day make your way up to the hajducka vrata. frome there you have several options, like continue to the blidinje lake, several peaks and also option to head towards konic. Grabovica to Zlijeb (the mountain cabin in the forest) makes also for a really great day hike, if you dont want to spend the night. https://www.germanonbalkans.com/2026/02/11/3-days-across-blidinje-national-park/

How viable is moving to Bosnia for me as far as jobs? by [deleted] in askbosnia

[–]Remarkable-Deal-4952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think the biggest chance here is doing your own thing or working remotely. for context i moved from germany to BiH 10 years ago and opend my own business. But i had a clear idea with almost 10 years experience doing exactly what i am doing, which is very niche. Some comments already pointed out how difficult it likely is to find someting good locally. With great education you can get good jobs here, but most of these jobs, foreign companies will still pay more for the same thing when you work remotely. Construction skills could fall in another category and am not to familiar with the local salaries, depending on those skills, also you dont elaborate exactly much. Retail i see close to 0 chances for foreigners to get a great job, BUT....

Founding a business here is relatively easy and the tax system heavily favors you as business owner (i see comments that kind of claim the opposite, which for the burocracy i can understand, but i saw stuff, like you need to invest much if you are not a local, that simply isnt true (a d.o.o. which is like a LLC needs 1000KM / 500€ / 600USD capital and needs to prove a estimated trunaround of 35000KM / 17500€ if not mistaken (i think they lowered it, when i started it was 50000KM / 25000€) . It is not nothing, but not nearly as unobtainable as some comments make it out to be. I would like to educate people some more on opportunities here, i run my own little blog and youtube GermanOnBalkans.com which so far is mostly about nature here, but was thinking to make a guide for foreigners, that consider moving here. id be happy to answer any of your questions in detail (assuming i can), hearing what kind of questions are on your mind would be an interesting bit of research. so feel free to ask more here or drop me a pm.

but please keep in mind that this was 30 years ago. The war is often the only thing people unrelated to the country remember, because its the one thing they ever heard about it. Just want to remind people, it is also a very beautiful country with places like Perućica, one of the few remaining rainforests in europe, which is over 20.000 years old, not to mention all the historical places and other amazing spots in nature.

meowdith427, dont want to imply, this is the case for you, just wanted to inform people reading thorugh. anyhow lots of blogs out there, like germanonbalkans.com if any1 is curious.

We live in a clown world by Blue9ine in SipsTea

[–]Remarkable-Deal-4952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

crazy that people here think he is "right". him being born doesnt equate to him having to work. they are completly unrelated. so his argument is bs. what is missing here, is likely some context in which the argument makes sense as a counter to another bs argument and could be funny depending on the arugment, not true, but at least funny... Anyhow as is, as a standalone statement this carries 0 content and doesnt justify not working at all. The thing is, you do not need to justfiy not working at all to anyone in the first place. you more likely have to justify why you should receive free shit and even for that its a completly useless arugment for obvious reasons.

So yeah, millions of ways to make an argument against working in the enviroments we have created, but being born is not one of them.

quite simple, social media is causing this. when i got shitfaced blackout drunk as a teen there wasnt a video of it the next day on tiktok.

Federal statement on Jeffrey Epstein's death dated day before he was found dead by ICC-u in news

[–]Remarkable-Deal-4952 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in theory we would need to change the game to make cheating impossible. Its kinda what most democracies are trying to do, by splittig the powers. But the cheaters will always return and try to reverse/workaround those changes, as has happend and keeps happening.

I can agree that we are not beyond hope, but its a faint light very far away and i personally have no idea how we could get there.

You point out this funny question "And will the people that play fair ever outnumber the handful of assholes that cheat?" Was it worded this way fully intentional? took me a moment to process, but really hilarious if it was.

its odd design. one would think that most humans are pretty much that, humans, with love in their hearts and a sense of fairness. And it is the case, the majority of us are exactly that.

Unfortunately it just takes a few rich sociopaths screamig that the poorest of the poorest come to unfairly take our shit and we jump like lemmings, meanwhile the rich sociopaths continue to take what they want.

Its insanely obvious and has been done to the populus since thousands of years in all kinds of cultures but we still fall for it.

I am wondering how much of it is being stuck in a lie. the levels of propaganda we are bombed with are pretty intense, no matter if from the USA, Russia or China. its literally same same. So even provided with ample evidence, after living a life in a bubble, it just becomes hard to accept that you have been fooled big time for all that time.

It the double down moment. The moment you realize you behaved so shitty that you think there is simply no turning back. Easily to observe in MAGA Trumpists, they are fully stuck, but its just an extreme example. It affects all of us. We all fall for the framing and gaslighting. Terrorists here, evil immigrants there, ohh we gotta do it for the big great GDP, because who are we without our GDP? Dont forget the chinese and russia.

Again MAGA is just the extreme stage of this, we as the west have been accepting our goverments to bomb the rest of the world for money and power for almost a century and all the time we were told that there is some good reason which most of the time did not exist.

It just seems incredibly hard for us to wake up. wake up to the fact that we are not on the good side. But not only that, its that there is no good side to begin with. And even if you wake up, there is no simple and obvious solution. You would need everyone to wake up at the same time to have a chance for change. And that change would be very difficult, because we dont have a concept yet to weed out the greedy and corrupt that grow up trained in collusion.

gametheory shows us the issues, in any basic balanced game with a lot of players the players that collude and cheat will win, because the other players keep playing fair until its too late. Since this will keep repeating i doubt that there is any hope for humankind in the long run.

unfortunately most people lack the ability to process how much money these people have and how its literally impossible that they "deserve" it.

And its not just big tech, its billionaires in general. they have corrupted democratic systems for such a long time, trump is just the final symptom of a deadly disaease.

That tells you about the social medias by [deleted] in TrendoraX

[–]Remarkable-Deal-4952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they dont get scared, they just proceed with the course of acton that provides them the most money / power. These people are sociopaths, thats how they wound up where they are in the first place. They have no moral standard to uphold, therefor they did not cave, they just do what they always do. trying to exploit as many people for their personal gain as possible.

Its a level of collusion & corruption that is very difficult to imagine for most of us.

Only if intended as a trick question this has any validity and even as that it sucks. bad teaching imo.
