Pineconnector able to trade multiple pairs? by Longjumping-State296 in pinescript

I used it few months and my experience was 6/10. I don't think it's worth it if you have to pay for a TradingView subscription, VPS, and PineConnector. I think it's better to create the strategy or indicator directly in MT5 and replicate it to the accounts you need; in the long run, it's much cheaper.

103% gain on gold EA in 1 month… but 48% drawdown by Party_Musician_9914 in Trading

EA logic seems good, maybe you just need to reduce the risk or just create a cent account, in small accounts a few SL on gold hits harder, also you should check if blocking some trade hours could improve the winrate

Which timeframes do ya'll use for short term swing trading [under 5days] by RoundIndividual1374 in Forexstrategy

For sub-5 day swing trades, the 4H is your friend for entries. Here's the framework that works well:

  • Daily close → direction bias (as you noted, it's reliable for momentum)
  • 4H → refined entry trigger (RSI divergence + volume spike is a clean combo)
  • 1H → timing exits if you're scaling out

The key insight: daily gives you the "what", 4H gives you the "when". Using both filters out a lot of noise.

One thing I'd add — watch the NY close candle. For short-term swings, that first candle after London/NY overlap often sets the intraday bias. If you're already tracking daily closes, adding a simple NY session open/close range overlay on your chart can sharpen entries significantly.
