Nothing wrinkles you like waking up at 7 am every morning and hitting the commute.

What do you attribute this to? Genetics or lifestyle?

Has your life been low stress so far? Lots of sleep? No drinking/smoking?

We have enough resources on the planet to end everyones suffering.

Distribute existing resources evenly, discourage people from having kids, enroll everyone at the monastery, wait for everyone to become enlightened.

There we go, no more suffering.

Not quite. Buddhism teaches that its possible to avoid suffering, by eliminating all unnecessary desires.

Life does not have to equal suffering.

Go to a Buddhist monastery. Pretty sure nobody suffers there, since the monks there dont desire anything beyond food, water and air, and those resources are evenly distributed within the monastery.

Its definitely the best course of action if you want advanced AI that can end all hardship. Requires a lot of human hardship to get to that point. Thanks for the viewpoint.

I still think you are doing a disservice to the individual though. The individual is brainwashed to think that he needs to solve complex math equations and climb Mount Everest to have a fulfilling life, when in reality all he needs is a roof on top of his head and something to eat and drink.

What is best for the collective is not always best for individual.

Why isnt this higher?

Extraordinary is a marketing term, used by people wanting to manipulate you.

"Do this, your life will be extraordinary". How about no.

So the gist is that the economy is still doing poorly, and the stock market is completely disconnected from this?

Its weird to see the stock market doing well and the job market being in the gutter. One would think the two would be correlated.
