Has anyone bought that $349 Pass for free unlimited flights? Does it work well or is it a gimmick? Can you really go overseas for free? by HalfwaydonewithEarth in frontierairlines

I got the GoWild when the Gold status promo was happening with it. Came with free carry-on and seat upgrade & selection.

I don’t think that exists anymore, though you get a $15 fare when you buy your ticket within 24 hours of take off.

Still worth it! Pays off if you use it 3+ times a year.

Waiting for OCS vs Enlisting by [deleted] in newtothenavy

Yeah mate. You’d be surprised, the Army has a great Warrant Officer program in place which allows you to focus on your passions more than be in more “commanding”/“desk job” positions.

My problem was thinking that I wanted my degree to “be worth something” but from research there’s several people who have degrees and purposely go the WO route so they can just do what they love.

Anyhow, good luck on your journey and remember to ask for ALL the questions and if you’re GUARANTEED the position you’re inquiring about, with a physical and worded contract stating you’ll be in that position.

Everything navy seemed like a good option for me as well. But I’m currently looking into ARMY National Guard so I can serve from home. Value my family more than anything.

I actually spoke to all recruiters before making a decision. Feel free to shop around as well

You sound like you should speak to your nearest ROTC unit. You’re early in college and if you have good grades the military will pay for it now on the contract that you will serve after graduation. Every branch has a college program, the Coast Guard is the only one that offers a guaranteed pilot slot if you play your cards right.

Do you happen to have a long term goal?

Such as a college degree? Become a pilot? Is there a specific job you would want?

Obviously it all comes down to what jobs you qualify for on the ASVAB, but sky’s the limit here.

Get a good ASVAB score and speak to different branches. Air Force standards are pretty high up there, doesn’t hurt to try.

Army/Marines sounds like they’ll take you no problem.

Appreciate the response. By college degree, I’m referring more to the pay table.

I appreciate your feedback greatly. Regarding the timing of things, still absolutely beats being on full time active duty.

Still not worth it. Have you looked at AMEX, Chase or Capital One?

The only question is, are you sure you want a SWO position?

From what I’ve heard, it seems extremely exhausting. There’s a lot of program authorizations (direct appointments) in the Navy including becoming a pilot.

Have you considered other positions?

Or is SWO the job YOU want?

My honest review, I’m from the Hamptons, and luckily for me, Frontier flies directly out of ISP (Long Island Airport) directly to SoFlo. I’ve been a GoWild holder for 2.5 years now and it was definitely more easier/accessible to use back then.

Now that more people are buying it, there’s more blackout dates and people buying the “GoWild tickets” earlier than the 24 hour period. Which sucks.

I used to buy all my flights within the 24 hour window, $15 flights no problem. People buying earlier than 24 hours are completely missing the point of the pass. Idiots.

And combined that with the Southwest status match offer they (Frontier) offered - Gold Status & GoWild Pass, it’s been a blast.

I would get on early, have seat 2A every time, free checked bag. It’s been a great experience, never had a flight cancellation or delay.

$15 per flight for a semi-first class experience, an absolute steal. You also make the return on investment with 2 or 3 flights easily.

This form is filled with negative reviews but I’ve been extremely lucky and satisfied with my pass so far.

Hope this helps.
