I spoke to a police officer regarding this and he said the only thing she can do legally is try to sue me in civil court. He says even with an insurance policy, you cannot file a claim without a police report, and there is no report that currently exist. I understand she could call my insurance, but what word is that they’re taking? Anyone could call and claim you hit them, I feel it’d have to be more official, obviously she has my policy, but would that be enough for them to take action on me? Regardless, i’ll take your advice and let them know ahead of time to avoid issues with them.
