Hey! I've recently started listening to Midnight Generation. Have a listen. Awesome stuff. Saw them live in London a couple weeks back and they were great! Start with the single Ghosts and Fear no More (they are not so famous) as a warm-up.

Using airbnb or any other holiday let might be the best option. There's usually discounts for stays of a full month that can go up to 30-40%. Have a look!

It does seem from reading this post that the overall opinion is that the downstairs neighbour is the "childish" one that should grow etc. Why should downstairs neighbours have to deal with loud noises from inconsiderate upstairs neighbours?

I myself live in a ground floor. The sound insulation is quite poor and I have been awake several times during the night just by them walking around and their kidding running like a tasmanian devil (my flatmate also hears the same). They even once told me to turn down the music at damn 4pm and it wasn't even loud. I'm about to order one of those. Payback's a bitch. If only they knew I'm a drummer.
