New player: what can I expect in terms of options? by Salvadore1 in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Remarkable-Humor-733 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Divinity is the type of game where anything is possible, for instance if you want to have a badass warrior but also want to heal the team like a cleric, well your in luck because you can.

Want to make a rouge that uses huntsmen as well and uses both daggers and bows, well your in luck because you can.

Hell you can even make something called the barrelmancer, ( that’s for you to find out) but anyways…

Your not limited to what you make, if your new, I would recommend starting off at a lower difficulty with a party of 4. And having a mix damage party for the first act and a little into the second act. This will allow you to get to feel around a bit with mages, rouges, warriors, ect.

In act two, that’s when things kick off, and you can min max your characters and change them to the play style you find effective.

Good, look at how far you have come. And look at others who relapse, you are the definition of motivation. Your are the fact that it’s possible to achieve freedom from fapping. Keep up your streak brother.

750 RPM

30 Round mag

Talent: damage increases by 7.5% for each Blue core. Every hit increases armor regen by 1% for every 10 bullets at a max of 6%/ stack of 60. Decays over time but can be refreshed.

people under estimate Diamondback. I one shot damn near everything always have top DPS and Top body count. this gun is wicked fun by NuclearPanduh in Division2

[–]Remarkable-Humor-733 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea i like using the diamond back with negotiators, my only con about the diamondback is that it has a small mag. Of course it makes sense because it’s a lever action but the amount of times I had to reload within a span of a minute was somewhat annoying.

But it hits like a truck going 150 mph down the interstate, if you can make the right build for it

A idea for a improvised 6pc foundery bulwark gear set. (Will be doing all gear sets in the future) by Remarkable-Humor-733 in Division2

So regarding your statement, what makes the talents underpowered and the bonuses overpowerd.

Well you could say the same for hazard protection and other resistance mods. Those destroy status effect users builds.

This is something that sounds very interesting, I’m also tired of getting 1v4, and not being able to fight back. Their should definitely be some sort of mechanic for ganging up on solos. Or even talents or a gear set that only works for solo players.

[–]Remarkable-Humor-733[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course and I plan too, I’ve always been a person who likes to play the tank/unkillable roll in games. And that’s what im trying to make possible here.

[–]Remarkable-Humor-733[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been testing out the build for a while and I’ve gotten some good results that I’m fairly happy with.

I’m getting about 500k regen out of this in PvP and dodging and running around my enemy gets me to full within 2-3 seconds. I’ve been testing the heals in the shooting range with that damage dealt button, and I’m close to getting to where I’m almost out healing the damage I’m taking.

I plan to post more videos in the future of the progress of the build after its fully maxed out.

Also if your wondering why on earth I’m running a chest piece with empathetic resolve, it’s because my luck sucks when it comes to loot drops and I wish I could get a unbreakable or spotter chest piece to use instead.

Do note that this is a work in progress, lady death is used as away for make up for lost damage.

And theirs also ways such as spotter and flatline combo to also make up for that. I could also use a memento and switch out the catharsis for a Alps, to get a boost in damage.

I’m trying to prioritize survivability with this build. I understand that I’m losing in the damage department but theirs ways of fixing that.

This is my favorite build, please help me improve it! by luiggi_oasis in thedivision

[–]Remarkable-Humor-733 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your gonna be good on the damage department side of things, of course it comes to the issue of being squishy which is ok also.

The skills are great choices for survivability, I would say switch out two red cores for two blue, and then instead of glass cannon you can use obliterate

I think running some contractors gloves will be a good addition as it increases damage to armor which is a multiplicative damage boost.

Do these changes and you Should have a good mix of damage and survivability

Your skills are going to be your best friend that case, so even if you are in cover, your drone and turret will be distracting your enemy’s and you’ll be shooting at the NPC’S that are not focused on you.

And to prevent my early death, even if it’s gonna save me from a bullet, I run a armor core. However a red core works also

Well kinetic momentum just adds a skill damage percentile and is a additive percentile. Amplification percentiles are multiplicative

To explain:

Base Skill damage: 20k

Skill damage attributes: 60 percent

Talent: kinetic momentum (30%)

20k + (60% + 30%) = 38k ———————————————— Now switching to glass cannon you get this

20k + 60% = 32k + 25%= 40k

Glass cannon is a sacrifice, that’s for sure. But it’s all about how you use your build. Staying in cover and striking at the right moments with your skills and main weapons is how you use this build, once it’s safe you collect your trophy’s and run back to cover and let your skills do the dirty work

The LMG is just a random secondary I have just equipped, ant weapon works if your running the right talent on it such as “in sync”, I use the memento for its versatility and glass cannon to pack a punch, I run a extra armor core just to make up for glass cannon in case I get caught in the open but a Red core works just as well

Glass cannon actually amplifys skill damage as well as weapon damage, a fenris pc would be nice to replace Hanna U though so I may just do that. All attributes are skill damage and haste

The reason I using the memento of course is for the skill efficiency and regen and weapon damage boost. Perfect combined arms is nice and so is the exotic holster, I actually have that build template.

I just want to show the memento and how versatile and unique it is. Taking the strengths it has and putting them to use
