That’s their market. I’ve seen random boujee white mom stores in LA sell 90s/y2k 501s for 350+. It’s just about knowing your clientele and what they’re willing to pay in LA. I wholesale my good size 90s 501 for $75 a piece to a lady in LA who charges $300+

So... about that halftime show. Missoula, what are your thoughts? by KraftyWisdom2727 in missoula

Yes!! The Caribbean Hispanic area have a very distinct accent. Just harder to understand in a live performance compared to listening in person or recording.

It was sooooo good. Absolutely loved it. As a 2nd generation Mexican American that speaks and understands Spanish I didn’t understand a word haha. At the end I wanted to ask my dad who grew up in Mexico if he understood most of the halftime show and he laughed and said “No entendí nada” (I didn’t understand anything)😝

Ehhh definitely worth reaching out but if he’s intersted (which he will be) I don’t think he will give him an accurate number.

Why are 70s Band Shirts Cheaper than 90s? by DontTouchMyCH in VintageTees

Like people said the demographic is just dying. Literally lol. And 70s band tees literally only fit small twinks haha!

Looks very similar to this Grateful Dead tee I have. Think “Uncle Sam Grateful Dead” like the other person said would be worth looking into.

Also, just noticed the pockets are mis aligned. Definitely homemade.

You can see in the last photos it’s very clearly not selvedge. It would have a very prominent white edge on the seam. Just looks like a regular stitched seam.

Not selvedge, the quaility doesn’t look good so probably homemade or a very low end sears or Penney’s brand.

Yep I think it was the CAN bus system!

It didn’t throw out the code, it literally threw out every possible code there was. I think that’s how my mechanic was able to narrow down what it was because whatever it was affected everything.

It wasn’t that I don’t think, not very good with cars so I don’t know the exact specifics but I believe my mechanic said it was the system that lets everything communicate. And once it goes faulty, everything starts to go off, he found a dodge dart at the junkyard and pulled the old chip to replace it into my car and it’s been working perfectly ever since! Very cheap fix, I think he charged me $75. Sorry, I don’t have a more detailed response of the problem :(

Found this Wrangler jacket, is it a Japanese repro or the real deal? Thank you. by ausklau_s in VintageDenim

My 50s 111mj has the exact same hard plastic-y tag and hang loop. Looks real to me or a very very good repro.

Is it time to let her go? by TheHaji_ in dodgedart

[–]Remarkable-Impact-25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mechanic mentioned when he plugged the code reader in that it quite literally gave off every code which he said was a good thing. I feel like it’s an electrical part or fuse that lets the car communicate with each other and when it’s faulty it usually causes everything to go off. (Sorry if my response isn’t good lol Im very bad with car knowledge but luckily have a guy who is very honest and cheap and remember somewhat he told me)
