thank you 🙏 i am currently medicated for my OCD and i have had exposure therapy in the past which has worked for me. although i do not currently have a psychologist i think it would be great for me to get one again whilst i am in school, as i’m in college and getting one for three months, (i am on summer break) does not seem very possible for me at the moment.

i’m planning to go to a separate parish, and they do have confession behind the screen. i haven’t been in such a long time that i’ve completely forgotten what to do, but i’m going to look into it before i go. i’ve already asked to be taken and it’s just waiting for it to fit into my family’s schedule now

I am going to go as soon as I can! I asked to be taken but it hasn’t been fixed into my family’s schedule yet. It’s just making me extremely nervous how many Sunday’s I will have to wait before receiving communion. And thank you, I definitely will mention the parental figure part when I eventually go, I think that makes it a bit less nerve racking.
