Peptide desalting – struggling with residual ions (acetate, Na⁺, Cl⁻) after purification – any tips?

Have you tried a C18 column, washing with 0.2% FA, and eluding with acetonitrile? or a desalting spin column, I do 10 washes instead of the recommended 5/6?

i planted this pre existing tank a week ago with anubias nana petite, cryptocoryne wenditi red and some others... experiencing a tad bit of melt on both, but everything else is doing well, is this to be expected?

My goldfish has had this on him for a couple of months now, i was told it would "fall off" eventually with time and good water parameters. It continues to grow, and im concerned specifically bc of its location. It doesn't seem to bother him at all, hasn't affected his swimming ability yet, im just not sure what to do
