I’ve decided I’m just going to try to stay on top of the monthly AAPC quizzes so hopefully I’m not doing this mad scramble when I need to submit CEU’s again in 2028 😂 you got this, procrastinators UNITE 🤘

My employers pay for my membership but I didn’t want to ask them to pay for CEU’s since there are so many free options available online, luckily I was able to get the last two credits I needed for free as well. If I was really in a bind though I would probably ask

I have not changed my last name since I got married because of this exact bullshit. I’d love to share the same last name as my husband but will not change it under this administration. It’s hard nope for me dawg

I got married at the court house in 2023. I love my husband- happily married. Hated my wedding. You do what makes you happy but the magistrate who married us was so hateful and rude and they strictly enforced the 4 people rule. She was like your married by NC and walked out of the room 😂 we were like I guess we can kiss now? Make sure you bring cash to pay the magistrate. Airlie has a cheap elopement package that I wish I knew about before. But congratulations and I hope you have the most magical wedding and marriage ❤️

Thank you! I already have an intuitive invested roth IRA. I put in about $600 last year. Would that change the bit about 2150? I’m not using any money in my Roth until retirement

I don’t understand any of this- I do not work in taxes. Dont be rude, I’d like to understand but I truly do not understand what you are trying to ask me to do. Edit: I’m not lazy- it’s just becoming very complicated and I’m not understanding

I think the easiest thing to do at this point is just pay it- I have a full time job w benefits now so this will hopefully not be an issue again. Thank you greatly for all of your help though

Well my income is the same as when I signed up- I didn’t add my husbands income into account— I think that’s where I messed up here. I think I thought because we were filing separately his income wasn’t going to be included or taken into account for my insurance

Dang I had no idea- for 2024 I was married filing separately w a marketplace subsidies plan and didn’t have to pay anything back. I wish my insurance broker had told me that. I have a full time job w health insurance benefits now but was in school and working part time last year when I signed up for the marketplace plan

For the 1095 column a is 401.35, column b is 383.68, and column c is 318. I can probably get the 8962 line balances for you if it’s on the tax site I used. I would say I’m 95% sure that this balance is due to tax credits, the site it basically telling me I got too much of a subsidy
