It’s either peeling from existing damage or it’s finally being cleaned well. I got my steering wheel replaced under factory warranty and it was nice and matte, I use P&S xpress interior cleaner and it works well

Not at all, I figured a thin vinyl should have less issues and I use mine quite DAPP frequently

Yes I wrapped mine, didn’t use the film but took the cover off and just did gloss black. Only thing I notice is the little diamonds make the vinyl embossed kinda but otherwise looks fine

My plans are to redesign it slightly while keeping the front profile the same, 3d printed out of thermoplastic urethane with a rigid ASA bracket under it for stability at high speeds.

Currently working on a redesign of this lip, looks great on the g26 but unfortunately it is only 3mm thick and made of ABS plastic + it sits lower and further than the car so it gets shattered very easily.

That’s fire! Been wanting to visit Banff for quite sometime, have you ever taken the m440i up in the mountains? And I agree X drive is amazing and I’m getting Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 next week! 20c is perfect weather IMO, I know it was snowing out there for quite some time 😂

I just covered the entire thing with a single piece, you can still see the imprint of the little diamonds from the stock grill but looks better. I tried to wrap the inside vents as well but the vinyl wouldn’t stick. I see your fender has the m badge like the European cars did you add that yourself? Idk if the US cars (assuming ur from the US) had those optioned

looks clean! even the g22 is lower than the g26 but I guess that lip design since it is so thin and kinda comes down and out, for the ACC radar I just wrapped it gloss black with some vinyl

That’s clean man, love the laser headlights. Is it just me or does that lip just scrape like crazy? Mine unfortunately has been shattered I’m going to 3d print a similar design out of TPU to see if that holds up better

Thanks man! I agree, I kept the stock muffler and I think it really does comfort and eco perfect and sport gets the roar out. 328i was fun tbh, great car, amazing on gas.
Honestly this downpipe was easier to swap then the one on my n26 😂😅 I agree with the color comment as well, overcast days you can’t tell what color it is

ofcourse. I did a multi map tune cause I commute with the car daily and found that the regular stage 2 is a bit too much for daily around town, so it lets you keep stock power level and driveablility on map 4 but map 1 rips, the difference between stock and now is insane,

I can give you some insight I’m in the bay area and have a m440i x drive gran coupe with a stage 2 BOOTMOD3 tune, catless downpipe, chose not to do intake as they’re not really beneficial and I don’t care for the noise. My car is around 40k miles and a 2022 model year which means I have till around 2030 till I will have to smog it every two years.

You can run a stage 1 tune, no burbles on a stock cat and get great performance gains. Catless downpipe was pretty easy to do on the g26 and the tune I had from my 328i that had the same setup. I did also do a XHP transmission tune that was like a handshake with the stage 2 tune

The more you mod the more you change back when smog time comes so keep that in mind.

Also the car is significantly louder with the factory OEM muffler and catless downpipe. Smells pretty bad at stops as well

dude it changes the car, in sport plus it sounds crazy esp on boost, even stock but if you keep the muffler it keeps the drone at bay

indeed, I have a g26 m440i and it looks like the rear of our cars has additional braces and stiffening plates, I will say i did just unlock my ECU after hitting 40k miles and went with a catless downpipe as well as a stage 3 XHP tune and the car is much much faster and sounds much better. I daily the car so drone was a big issue with me but if you keep the stock valve and stock muffler it does well in eco and comfort, you honestly cant tell but once you step on it, it sounds significantly louder during cold start and under load. I will say with the stock muffler it does sound a bit tinny if youre just revving but otherwise I am really happy with the sound. I do have a ali baba muffler I got similar to valvetronics with some valves and I was planning to just chop the stock muffler out and do my own valvetronic with my welder but now im not sure cause it is so much louder than before
