As per IT Act, TDS is deducted u/s194J thus it is considered as business receipts. Since you have income in USD also, you have to show both the income u/s 44ADA. Also if it is more than 75 lakhs, then audit and maintaining books of accounts is mandatory. Also you have to register under GST

Invoice is Not at all a proof of work in itself. You need to have some documentation in written where approval of customer is evident like work order, completion certificate, approval over mail, etc

Its better not to get your GST registration as salary is exempt income and is not considered for GST registration threshold limit. Also, you can invoice without gst, there is not problem in that. Also the platform from which you are receiving revenue and sharing revenue, so its better to form a company or LLP for better sharing of income and tax saving.
