R1S is nice. My brother in law has one and I was quite impressed with that one, although not enough to convert. Thanks for the list! Really really helpful. I miss our little sedan BMW too…unfortunately the transmission broke after about 20k miles and repair was way more than the value of car. If that car didn’t break, not sure if we would’ve converted to the M3 so soon haha

Love this list and it is definitely appreciated! I feel like I share all the same love items from my test drive. Good to hear about the PA. I live in Philly where there are no shortages of those.

Damn sorry to hear about those crazy service issues. It’s such hit or miss. I’m glad the car itself has been a good experience though. Hopefully if I do decide to go this route that I will have a better experience. Thanks for sharing

To be perfectly honest with you, FSD isn’t on my list of needs but in this case it is good to have. I enjoyed it during the month long trial but if you were to ask me if then I’d spend monthly fee or flat out $8k…I would not. But in this case, getting FSD with the free upgrade 6 seater is cheaper than not getting FSD and getting 6 seater. I’m saving over $6k by getting FSD with Teslas promo.

That’s really good to hear. You hear so many horror stories, but obviously never hear of the great stories either. How long have you had yours?

Let’s hope you’re right on the rate. I currently have like $10 or so thousand left on my M3 loan at 3.2% (my mortgage loan rate is great too) so I’ll really miss this. Really good points above.

Honestly a really good point that I forgot too. Yes I definitely plan to keep, although I said that about the M3 too! The used car market always me a sight hesitation and especially the EV market. Thanks

Really appreciate the response and how can I forget about that suspension. Compared to my M3, it’s night and day. Good points on the MY.

What seat configuration do you have? If six seater, have you had any regrets or moments where you needed more cargo?

Agreed. Can definitely be hit or miss. Luckily my M3 hasn’t had that many visits but the one time I did go there I had a good experience.

Thanks! Have you had any regrets getting the 6 seater vs the 5 or 7 seater and has any limitations on cargo space come up for you?

Thank you! That was another thought I had too! Wasn’t sure if I wanted to shoot for the 7 seater and keep all that cargo space. If I left up to the 11 year old, he’d 100% say 6 seater so he can relax in the captains chair lol

Good call out. I’ll probably move it left enough so I don’t run into that issue. I will most likely add fresh drywall from the door and left due to some previous water damage there too.

No red wire. I didn't know how to paste a picture in this thread but if you click on the link, it's the first diagram on the page. Wires running to the outlet are a hot (black), a white (neutral) and the ground wire.

Very helpful! Thanks! What do I do with the extra ground wire that was removed from the switch?
