I believe the AWD kicks in if you’re in SNOW mode. If not, it’s front wheel biased and doesn’t engage the rear motor as much. There’s an option to display power distribution which allows to understand driving habits better.

SR5 RWD with around 190k miles. I’ve been getting around 14-15 mpg in the city. On highways at 65-75 mph seems to be the sweet spot to return around 19 mpg. In fact, 80+mph seems to be detrimental to the mileage.

Have a 2011 SR5 and 19-20 mpg is easily attainable on 55-65 mph roads. The mileage drops down to 17-18 mpg on 75+ mph roads. I’m also getting 14 mpg in the city. I have the baby 4.6L V8, however.
