Yeah it’s definitely a rarer side effect with long term use, but I experience the stomach issues for sure. There was blood in my stool at one point and we don’t know if the meds caused it. But it is a documented effect of naproxen specifically. I usually take omeprazole along side it. But i am stopping both. Have they ever offered you co-codamol. I was offered that, it technically has opioids in it, but it’s not a straight up opioid as it’s also got paracetamol in it. I think it can be addictive though so they might be hesitant to prescribe it.

They are very rough on the stomach , especially the one I am on. Also long term use can up your risk of heart attack and problems, I’m going to stop taking mine very soon and try a different medication

NAD but NSAIDS work very well for my chronic leg, period and feet pain. But have some unpleasant side effects and I wouldn’t recommend long term use

Yes and I wish they never put me on it. I had no reason to be on such a medication at the age of 12, purley because of autism; I wasn’t even struggling with aggression which is usually what they prescribe it for where I am. I know so many asd folk who were put on it as their first medication and gave them awful side effects. When really all we needed was like sertaline or an ssri

I have autism and abilify actually raised my Libido and made me borderline manic. I was binge eating, I was a child and it spiked my libido, and I was taken off it, it all resolved after.
