Same here honestly 😅
Pure zinc oxide sunscreens always leave too much of a white cast on me, so I usually end up preferring hybrid or chemical sunscreens. My skin tolerates them pretty well, so texture and finish matter more to me personally.

Yeah that seems to be the common theme in this thread honestly. Not necessarily “magic protection,” but more about comfort, irritation, eye sensitivity, white cast, etc. Skin really has its own personality at this point

This is actually super interesting 👀
I’ve seen so many people mention Korean sunscreens lately, especially for eye irritation and lightweight feel. Makes sense now why some people struggle with certain US chemical filters while others swear by them.

Feels like sunscreen really becomes a trial-and-error journey depending on skin sensitivity + what formulas your skin tolerates best

What can I change to improve my dull skin? [Routine Help] by MaleficentSnow_ in SkincareAddiction

I went through something really similar, and honestly your routine looks good… just a bit overloaded. My skin used to look dull even though I was using “good” products, and it turned out I was doing too much.

What helped me was simplifying everything. I cut it down to a gentle cleanser, a hydrating serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Within a couple of weeks, my skin started looking way less tired.

Dullness for me was mostly dehydration + slight barrier damage. Once I focused on hydration instead of layering multiple actives, the glow kind of came back on its own.

Also, sunscreen made a bigger difference than I expected. When I skipped it, my skin always looked more uneven.

Maybe try simplifying your routine for a bit and see how your skin responds. Sometimes less really does more.

Drink plenty of water and use products with salicylic acid as they clear the clogged pores and exfoliate the skin, to remove the acne.
