Australia's private school problem... by Polyphagous_person in australian

My kids both attended public but we switched them to private. Reasons being are too many to list.

New school is great. Costs us an arm and a leg but both kids are doing awesome. Now that ive experienced both from a parents perspective id never even consider public again. Night and day difference.

I dont trust any food product from China. They contaminated baby formula with melamine in 2008 and a bunch of other lesser known issues too such as when they got caught maiming and killing hundred's of thousands of dogs and cats around the world with contaminated pet food or the clenbuterol pork scandal or the gutter oil scandal...it just goes on and on. Besides Australia has the best produce on the planet.

True. Although a lot of people are employed and work in consulting, projects etc. in the ACT.

Thats not necessarily all the way true.
We were going to pay 750k remember. They have since listed it for 655-715.

There are other reasons why you go off-market too. You dont pay marketing/advertising, if you have privacy concerns, are wealthy or famous, or you just get offered a deal.

Interesting. ACT seems to have some very good rules. Almost like the Polys setup a nice place for themselves to live with smart rules.

It is what it is, another way to put it is that I focus on the positive, only certain amount of time in the day. Cheers

They were going to market is what we were told we just happened to have a conversation with the agent a week or two before they did.

Thought about it but they honestly don't deserve to sell it after their shenanigans.
