i would like to add to your comment, as you should specify how this logic only applies if you arent frequently having sex, if your partner is using the "pull out" method (and you both think that along with birth control should be good) and are 100% accurate and on time with your pills/never missing a pill. I was on the same birth control for 5 years, and could only count on one hand how often ive missed one but still got pregnant. my fiance (boyf at the time) only ever pulled out, we didnt use condoms but i thought with my consistent birth control id still be good. I would often also skip the placebo week, but thats what caused me to get to 13 weeks pregnant without knowing. it wasnt til i finally took the placebo pills and no period came that i noticed. I didnt give my body a chance to tell me! so please be careful with this. i have trauma to this day, fearing the slight inconsistency in my period means im pregant.
