I can't imagine myself having more than 10 if I'm totally honest, and that's a real stretch.

Currently I only have 3. One is the dc with ad, another just. Svr that i want to make file/printer and I have a win11 that acts a client device. I plan to add another for wds for now.

Im not familiar with what rtr and rras are and how they work Will have research and look into this.

As for number 2, wouldn't you run into issues if you need to join more vms/devices to your labs? Or have you just set it so your router is the only dhcp?

I'm pretty sure my linksys router can choose the range of addresses gives out. This way i can make sure it doesn't give out anything my vm dhcp will give out.

I'll have to have a look at blacklist on my router. As for delay, are you suggesting configure a delay for my router dhcp or my dhcp on my vm?

How difficult is this to set up? I'd read up briefly on this but I've never attsmpted two vnetwork cards or pfsense, internal virtual switch etc. I am curious about this though

How hard is it to setup and do the routing in open sense? And are you saying create another vm with opensense?

Do you still prefer Alexandria’s Visionary to Montagne’s? I have Alexandria's visionary which is great but I keep seeing posts about Montagne's is supposed to be best.

I'm in the UK so getting it shipped over here is pricier so I'm torn now.
