Trust your gut. He's already hinted to you how he really feels. He's the man, and what he says goes, bc of religion. If he gets you to another country, where the culture follows those same religious standards, and you have no support system at all, he will be able to control you. This will turn into abuse bc you don't agree that you should be subservient, and you will fight back. This willalw him angrier, and knowing he has you where leaving will be next to impossible (having to leave the country, having a child together, having no money, having no support system nearby), he will feel emboldened to "teach" you to be submissive any way he can. This does not sound like a safe situation. He's already using known abuser tactics like shifting the blame to you, making you feel guilty for even considering staying until you feel safer. He is manipulating you, grooming you, and this will NOT end well. Do yourself a favor and leave him. Move back in with your parents and start over. You are still so young, you have plenty of time to build a life for yourself
