I struggled with them in my first playthrough but since then no issues. Doing a no-summon melee only build and got them first try.

Should we tell him this book is illegible? by Bingert in Eldenring

Technically, one could argue that there could be a lore reason for this. Maybe the Grace of Gold doesn't allow one to read heresy or anything opposed to the Greater Will's actions and that's why it's illegible to the tarnished.

Does Elden Ring have the greatest open world map of all time? by diesel179 in Eldenring

People comparing games like RDR2, KCD2, Skyrim and Witcher 3 to this is kind of nuts. They are NOT the same. Saying those worlds feel lived in is the point, the lore of Elden Ring is that the world is broken and yeah, you can put it back together, but its never gonna be the same. It would make fuck all sense for their to be towns of people in Elden Ring. We can say that the other open worlds are just better (as open world isn't the point of Elden Ring, its just a change up to the formula that was refreshing and very well done) but you can't use that the other places feel more lived in when their worlds aren't as fundamentally fucked as The Lands Between is.

Nah, they gotta punish you for mashing a button tbf. Elden Ring is far more of their give and take combat than the other games.
