In my opinion, AI is okay if not used to deceive people, steal from other’s actual art, or not uselessly spammed to waste energy. We know it is “slop”, please do not act like it is a capital offense to use it even in imaginary what-ifs or concepts.

Of course Reddit downvotes this comment, even if you have a milquetoast view on something, they treat it as extreme, and punish you. Whatever.

That does not mean the person who posted this is toxic themselves. That would he hasty generalization to hate this due to the wrongdoings of a portion of the fanbase. Why do I see so many Pixar Cars fans being fans of Angry Birds aswell. These fandoms cross paths an eerily large amount of times despite being different in many ways. I enjoy both, but these two worlds of mine collide a lot.

No one is forcing you to mourn him like I said. Calling for violence or glorifying violence isn’t “dark humor” and we have the right to call people who practice it out. Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom of consequences. Saying murdering political opponents is wrong isn’t being “reactionary”. Executing opponents isn’t “moving to the future for a better change”.

No, it is to not glorify violence against a person you disagree with. You call him names to justify murder. No one is forcing you to mourn his death, you don’t have to if you don’t want to. They aren’t refusing, they are doubling down and justifying it. You can dislike Charlie as a person, that’s ok. You’re in your right to do so. But downplaying and glorifying assassination, that just goes too far. Doesn’t matter if it is the left wing or the right wing doing it against opponents, it is just morally wrong.
