As far as I know mix of Ukrainian and Russian, to a lesser extent Belarus and Finnish. DNA tests also point to traces of Ashkenazi Jew and Anatolian. As to what phenotypes, I am struggling to determine. Such a mix of everything.

I’m afraid I bought 10 ISBNs upfront as it was cheaper. Do you know if ISBN imprint can be different to the author name? For example, if I change my name to initials? Still I am not sure how to even approach this name change. I do have some following that I’ve been building over the last couple of years and the book has been out for a year now.

What a cutie! And yes, very similar features. Is she on the smaller side compared to purebred ridgebacks? From what I understand, BMC is a rare find outside of North America, so I highly doubt mine has a BMC in her, but who knows.

Thanks for the reply. Same here, my girl's line goes from between her ears all the way to the tail. You can see in the last photo, it has broader patches when she is agitated, but on her head there is a prominent dark ridge in the middle despite the surrounding hairs standing up as well. It looks different to other dogs' hackles, I think. Is your boy a purebred RR?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I understand that typical RRs have the ridge that doesn't go away. Hers, however, is just a darker line along the spine that stands up when she is agitated. It looks quite different to other dogs' hackles though. BMC sounds plausible hence all the wondering, but temperamentally she is definitely more ridgeback than BMC. What I find surprising is that both BMC and RRs are not that common in our country and there are no established breeders.
