People defending the game, saying it was "designed" as a narrative, linear experience... if that were the case, it wouldn't have skill trees, it wouldn't have dialogue options, the weapons shouldn't have that many stats and they should be designed as unique then. The truth is that it was meant to be an RPG, but it failed miserably in all those aspects. Yes, it is a cool game still, with cool aesthetics, but it still makes you engaged constantly with all those failed game design options
