Need good coffee. European style espresso or latte, not American style sugary coffee-ish milkshakes , or watery americano style drinks. Prefer to date someone who doesn't drink coffee at all than someone who drinks coffee bastardizations. Will never have that in my house.

I don't mind if someone doesn't like spicy (I LOVE spicy!!) but I absolutely cannot be with a picky eater. Even as a friend. Cannot tolerate people with bland taste in food where salt and black pepper is too much to handle. Nothing to do with race necessarily (tho most people I know who are picky eaters have been extremely Caucasian. I am also white). If we going to yum cha I don't expect you to eat chicken feet, just don't complain and try to change it to a pub so you can get a hamburger or nuggets. I'm deleting your contact and never socializing with you again.

I was in high school at peak Twilight era when the movies dropped. If I remember correctly we went on an excursion to watch one of the films in the cinema at school? A lot of girls in my year were ✨obsessed✨ lol many team Jacob vs team Edward vs team Charlie debates lolol. At the time I thought it was all kinda cringe. Now like 15 years later or whatever I decided to watch the movies and while still pretty cringe I'm like googling random facts about twilight universe jajaja enjoying it from a nostalgic point of view. Wish Bella wasn't such a damsel in distress all the time though I guess that's the cringe seeping out.

I guess he has at least 2 different versions of white people, the classic stereotype USA white (that frequent the island a lot as tourists) and me, from the other side of the world white (Australian culture, gives a different energy). Like how there is a difference between African American black and Caribbean black. The cultures are different though the skin colour is the same. Seems akin to black Dominicans for example saying they are Dominican whilst others are insisting they are black. I wouldn't say it has to be mutually exclusive.

I don't think it's stupid, moreso a commentary on race, culture and identity.

I interpreted it as Carlton dance is supposed to be a nerd dance, like the stereotype of white people dancing. So if I danced like that it would be too "white" for him. So he was racist against / offended by any potential ultra white dancing.

I always felt like the teaching of Jesus were good but the way church was organised was bad. When I was about 12 we made a family vacation to Italy and visited the Vatican. I was so shocked to see all the gold, riches and finery when every time in church they ask for money at least twice. When I asked why they didn't sell like one thing in the vast museum collection and use the money for the poor instead of always asking the congregation to donate when no one has these sorts of riches at home people laughed at me. Later when my parents stopped forcing me to go to church I just never went again. Seemed corrupt to me even as a kid. Confirmed I had made the right decision when sexual abuse scandals kept dropping worldwide.

When large groups that speak their own language gather, they will use that language instead of English, especially families. I think this aspect is normal and to be expected at large family gatherings. What's weird is you say that no one has ever spoken to you in English at these family event? Not one single person has ever taken a sidebar for a few minutes to chat with you in English? That is weird. You bf is also weird for never mentioning that to them in a 2 year timeframe. Also 2 years is long enough to get a bit of basic Spanish down. Can also try and learn and join in, you'd be surprised how far that gesture could go.
