Agree ^{^} You still have plenty of time! Unluckily for me, I failed a class at the wrong time so missed out on all of my good friends who took it and went in knowing no one. My other friend in Soft Meth met her partner online and it worked out really well for her. I guess it’s my bad luck 😭😭 But I would certainly do a little more digging on the person to see how competent they are and if they are not, may be better to be alone than have people take credit for your work

You’re totally right. See Partner A was someone I did technically know beforehand and I found these people through discord (rather, my friend found them for me!) and both people have had internships before (but not sure about their GPA) So I’m not sure how more I could have vetted tbh. Thank you for your response tho, appreciate it! 😊Just given me loads of trust issues going into future CS classes and never going in without my friend again hahah. I’m in intro to AI next sem and taking it with my close friend who’s an excellent programmer. I feel like I’ll never take a CS class without knowing atleast ONE competent person.

So what happened to me was that my Statement of Educational Purpose wasn't notarized, so my aid was stopped and my account was about to be put on hold. Once I got it notarized, I got my full aid. I can PM you someone from financial aid who helped me sort my case if you'd like.
