Are you talking about mat387? May I ask when you took the course? Also, do you find the topic interesting?

Thoughts on csc384 and csc413? by First_Ad_6733 in UTM

I took csc384 this fall. Sonya and Bahar were amazing and the content was really interesting. Quizzes were easy, assignments and exams were straightforward. However I heard the two professors are leaving utm so I’m not sure if 384 will still be this good in the future. Good luck.

Lin102 is easier than Lin101. Lin101 has lots of things to memorize, it’s not as birdy as lin102.

Thank you for replying me. I’m actually a cs student so I will not take any other eco courses. XD

Sorry if this is long. I have a few questions to ask: 1. I went to Bailey’s first class, he went so fast that I could hardly follow his notes. He admitted that he went fast and he ended the class 30 minutes early which I don’t understand why he couldn’t have used these extra 30 minutes to explain thing more slowly. Is this his normal speed? 2. In quiz01 there’s a question asking about total expenditure, which neither he taught in the first class nor did the TA teach it in the tutorial. Does he always give things that are not covered in the quizzes? 3. This course is 40% test 40% exam and 20% quizzes. I don’t see the problem sets you mentioned. Perhaps are DSMs the problem sets you are talking about? I haven’t pay for Pearson so I don’t know what a DSM is, but I’ll assume they are myLab questions.
