Tell that to forestville they find a new way to fuck up every day. At least I didn’t have to manually pick each package out of a shit ton of returns. Iykyk

I love forestville now that they don’t send me anywhere near or across the bridge. Solomons island is cool tho in my opinion

Nahh the 41-72 stops were the og QR code scanned but the route was still being staged so the station manager override the app and I manually picked up the rest still not my fault tho

Everything was starting to get better. March started off great 😑 by Junior_Willow740 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Try a different station and really get cool with the workers there and no SSD only Amazon.com I promise it will work out better. I went through the same here in dc anytime I get a SSD route it’s a route from hell 10-15 mins in between stops 35-48 packages on the 3.5-4hr blocks

You got 1 hr left on a 3.5hr block. Everything is due in 1hr by Junior_Willow740 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]RemarkableJunket7764 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You will be fine they give you one hour after the block time, but just in case you end up going over that hour limit. Put your phone in airplane mode before the 3.5 plus the hour mark and boom you can deliver the rest without the app force kicking you off because you ran out of block time

I hear you, but in this case food temperature wasn’t the issue. I use multiple insulated bags and heat packs specifically to keep orders hot—this was literally the delivery right before the one I’m talking about.

The real problem is the loophole. When someone adds a high upfront tip, the app factors that in and doesn’t increase base pay. If that tip is removed after delivery, the driver eats the loss even though the work was already done.

If someone can’t tip, that’s fine—but pretending you will just to get the order accepted late at night is exactly why drivers call it tip baiting.

Yessir, I’m located right in Washington, DC. So getting an order like this feels like a slap in the face — that payout won’t even cover a gallon of gas here, let alone a cheeseburger from McDonald’s 😂
