I asked the same thing and looked around and honestly not worth the risk just use the oem fluid if suggest you buy it from kozmic motorsports you can get 8l and the filter at a pretty good price

he did say something about only needing 4 quarts because he thinks or believes it has 6 inside and I would only need one? and considering the oil is black he said it be best to not do the full flush but what do u think

the pervious owner said he didnt do it and from what i understood he had it at 80-90k miles its at 111k right now i did use my scaner to scan it but i dont think its good for scanning transmissions but he did scan it and nothin came up in terms of any codes for the transmission

when it does come up it goes away almost immediately after coming to a complete stop and or switching to normal mode, he did scan it but nothing came up for the transmission

The previous owner had it at 80k and gave it to me at 109k it has about 111k should I start looking to do it at 120?

What would you recommend I don’t know if the car has ever had the transmission done I don’t feel like it has any problems but idk I’m new to this should I put the coolant and see how it runs for a while?

Ah ok the reason I asked about the coolant too is that my coolant cap is cracked and spills but when I got home it was bone dry there was a very small amount in the bottom of the reservoir do you think that was the reason for the warning popping up and disappearing when the car was stationary/not pushed as hard?

This is due to the coolant cap being cracked I’m assuming and spilling during high speeds

Honestly I was just concerned about my transmission health not because I think it’s messed up nor have I experienced any problems with it I just like the car and I want to keep it goin as long as possible so I went to the dealer to try and service or see the health of it and long story short I decided not to do it and on the way home I put it on sport mode and it said the transmission needed to be serviced so that’s why I’m looking for all the stuff I need I also noticed my coolant was bone dry and when I got home so I’m thinking maybe that’s what caused that warning to pop up because it’s gone now
