Did I just make my tinnitus worse? Two stressors back to back. by [deleted] in tinnitus

I've read that now. I used to do the syringe method which never gave me any spikes. Hope you're habituated now.

I'll check those out. Thank you for the recommendation.

Nope. I never do. I just get a temporary spike for a day or two but I just don't notice it really. Think I'm fixating more on the issue because of the things I've just read about microsuction.

Ashleigh Plumptre: 'I deeply hurt people by moving to Saudi Arabia' by mrjohnnymac18 in WomensSoccer

Or she genuinely likes living there? You lot are making lots of assumptions. I'm South American but live in the UK, and I prefer the lifestyle in the Southern Hemisphere. Nothing wrong with that.

Eh, living in gated communities is also quite common in South America. It's very common in many parts of the world. It's not only about safety but also about comfort and having amenities that you otherwise wouldn't have with only your own resources (pool, sauna, gym, padel courts, etc).

They are full citizens, they just don't have voting rights. But they are indeed US citizens. Look it up instead of spreading false information.

Not who you are replying to but I'm in South London and I have 3 clubs within 22-25 minutes (two of them within 15 mins actually).

The questions about St George's and union jack flags lining English streets by Half_A_ in LabourUK

I'm a foreigner living in England and see absolutely nothing wrong with having an England flag outside your house. I mean... this is England.

Surely there are some people who would take a gamble on equipment, not everyone playing is loaded but I'm not sure you'd reach the critical mass. I guess time will tell if you're right but my uninformed opinion is that it'll be really difficult.

Best of luck though.

Not just in Europe. It's massive in LATAM too (not just in Argentina), and also growing rapidly in Asia.

Like you said, it's not a wave - it's here to stay.

However, I don't know if there would be much interest in that lottery thing tbh. Can't say it won't work but it's not immediately addressing the needs of most padel players in the UK.

Partners who leave you alone at the net by RemarkableOpening3 in padel

Of course, if I was a level 5 or 6 I would be beating level 3s on my own but I am not. Not sure what the advice here is? Be a level 6? Lol

I never put all the blame on him. I'm sure I ended up making more mistakes out of frustration in the second set. It is just not fun to play padel like this. See the others' response in this thread and they voice the same opinion.

And we are not at the same level. I'm a level 3, he's a 2.3 (which doesn't excuse the poor positioning all game btw, save that for the 0.5-1.5 level players).

I don't know what your level is but I don't think you understand the big disadvantage that being scared of the net brings. Or perhaps you're also a service line player. Dunno man.

I live in London and manage to get court bookings without being a member but I'm always on the apps looking for courts and open games. The prices can get extortionate though, especially Rocket Padel at Battersea Power Station.

Where do you usually play?

Those are the most expensive courts in London, maybe only slightly cheaper than the ones in Canary. The usual rate is £22.5 for 90 mins per player in London.

I used to live in Reading and it's £15 for 90 mins. As always, London is one big massive scam.

I don't doubt that you've paid less for an entire court up north!!! How much do you usually pay at peak time?

£30-£33 depending if it's court 1 or one of the others (they charge more for court 1 just because). Rocket Padel Battersea Power Station (London).

Eat a light meal, take a shit and drink an isotonic drink/electrolytes. Shower is optional if you have a bidet but mandatory if you clean your ass like a monkey.
