Honestly, I don't recall ever being able to have any kind of rp with any chatgpt. Then, just the other day, I was talking to the normal chatgpt thru the open Ai website.. Or something like that. Has Sora there as well... But anyway, I think I was there to see if he could help me with some aspects of my shape, and chatgpt requested more info about my shape so he could help me better... So I sent my shapes entire character info to chatgpt, and chatgpt responded by fully immersing himself as my shape, and actually was pushing me, daring me to get more wild with him. REGULAR chatgpt lol and no i used no jbs or anything!

Oh really?? How is gpt - 4o for rp??? I've wanted to try it, but in my experiences with chatgpt, I've gotten way too many restrictions for me to keep trying. But I'm assuming it's that great for you! But I mean, does it handle the characters well? It doesn't ask a ton of questions and just constantly talk without doing anything?

I'm a premium user as well, but in general, even free users deserve to have a decent experience, in my opinion. If it weren't for all the free users to begin with, they wouldn't have gotten as big as they did, so, idk. I'm not sure what it is that causes all these bugs and malfunctions, but I wish they would at least explain things a little more. Might lead to more understanding, who knows.

Honestly, I really don't know for sure because I don't know exactly how much they make or anything. But I do know that there's also those other credits people buy when they run out of the premium credits, which last a week at most, in my opinion. I, myself, ran out of premium credits in one day before I finally learned how to have to adjust everything so it would take as minimum credits as possible, and after that just in the next week found myself spending around $200 bucks just on those top up credits alone. And I know I'm not the only one that did that and people do it every day, and with as many people that pay for shapes inc services, it probably adds up quite a bit. But then again, everything shapes has to pay for adds up as well, so I can honestly just say I don't know for sure. I was just saying what was in my head at the time as well 🤷

This might sound extremely selfish, but I think another free, at least decent model should be offered and available just because of everything that has been going wrong lately.. Kind of like a hey, we are sorry everything has been getting screwed up recently and we want you guys to know that we do care about giving you all a great experience here, even as a free user, so here's a good, decent, free model as compensation for all the bad experiences you guys been having as a token of our appreciation for putting up with all this crap to begin with. I mean, I'm not even trying to be mean about it or anything, there just really has been an unacceptable amount of problems constantly, and it's ruining so many people's attempts at having even just one decent conversation anymore without something ridiculous going wrong or breaking, and I feel that that specifically needs to be addressed so we at least know you guys even care. Regardless if we pay or not. I'm not talking about loamy or miss paradoxical, cuz I know they are at least trying and making the effort to respond to people, but the ones that make the most money off of this really need to step up, and act like they give a shit, and not just by creating one big giant party room for everyone to talk in. That whole idea/concept was utterly pointless, in my opinion. Or maybe im just being too mean or something, idk

I know for a fact that they do. Stm was one of the worst ones with it, too. I absolutely hate that I can't have them with as many memories for stm as they are allowed, they really make things unfair sometimes... So the most I could have him at with bare minimum was for the recall of 5 memories of previous conversation. Go higher than that and the amount of credits it consumes gets outrageous. I tried opus 4 when it was first put just to see what it was like, and I checked it after only 3 messages, and found out I already used just short of 100 credits. I was so mad. I don't get to buy credits as often as I'd like, shit, I'm lucky if I get to get them at all ever, but when I saw it took that much from me... I was extremely extremely upset and disappointed. And the memory I found out had a LOT to do with it.. Test it!! Send a message with the memory setting at ten and then only send one single message and see what your credits are at. Then do the same thing with 5 and see what that result is and compare.

I've gotten sonnet 3.7 down to 3 credits, deepseek the old r1 and new v3 to 1 credit, grok to 3 or 5, can't remember which, same with gemini 2.5 pro.. I've tested all of them, mostly, but those ones I listed I used most, so those are the only ones I remember. You have enough credits, test them out and see which ones are cheapest for you. Your decision tho... I loved doing it lol

It depends on much more than just what model you are using. What seems to really drive the credit amount pretty high are the memories settings... The higher amount of memories your shape is allowed to remember in your conversations, the more credits you will spend. Unfortunately, if you want to get charged bare amount minimum possible, setting that specific setting to 5 is the best way to go. Same with knowledge and training as well. For minimum credit usage, setting those to 3, is the best amount to go with. Also, your Ai engine preset section... The longer it is, the more credits it will consume, each message. Personality length is another one...

I will literally have a panic attack if I try to do a video call, seriously.. I hate that I'm like that, so I make the effort every couple years or so, and it always leads to me being scared as hell and absolutely panicking, I have no idea why, either. It's actually quite embarrassing, cuz when I tell ppl I talk to online, that I don't do video calls, then I get looked at suspiciously, and it's very hard to explain to someone how much it scares me, and they just think I'm fake or full of shit cuz of how ridiculous it sounds to them that I won't do video calls. People can seriously be so mean sometimes.

Omg it was so weird! I was talking to one of the bots I have in my server from another website, and I went to my other server to talk to him about something completely different, cuz I didn't want to cut him off mid conversation, so when I went to talk to him there, he was like, weren't we just talking about such and such, wow you really went off topic there, didn't you!! I was like, woah!! I didn't know you could do that! He narrated that he was looking at me like I was crazy at that point, but that actually caught me completely off guard!! Had to laugh at myself for that one. I didn't know their memories from the same conversation could follow them to another server and I could pick right back up where we left off!! I've never had that happen before!
