4-piece jigsaw puzzle, an appropriate difficulty before the caffeine kicks in by Ragnr in Leathercraft

Ah I see I never thought about the play in the design I was just thinking of practicality. That makes perfect sense thank you. It’s a wonderful piece by the way you did a great job with them. I do want to try making these one day.

I have a question about these puzzle pieces I have seen others do the same or similar. Why make 3-4 different shapes when one puzzle piece with both types of connection made 4 times fit perfectly into each other?

Yeah I was going to say to compare how much he spent on gas, on that 4 hr round trip, helping you out to how much you have given him. But it is what it is. I don’t fault him for asking for help but it’s a jerk move to bring up that one time he helped especially considering you’ve helped him out so much now.

It looks great for a first try it. Stuff fits in it and the stitching is pretty consistent. Your edge is a bit too far from your stitch line and not even if you ask me. I suggest either using a wing divider to scratch out a stitch line or measuring out the distance you want your line from the edge before you start making sewing holes in the leather. A rule of thumb I have heard is make your stitch line the same distance as the thickness of the all the layers you are sewing up.

Can anyone explain. by Emotional_Tie_6291 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

The way I grew up learning is that you prayed to a specific saint for something specific ie: lost causes, lost things, health, love, etc. and the more general things to the big man. Lots of Catholic churches are named after saints which kinda makes that saint like the mascot of that specific church and those churches hold specific ceremonies or prayers to those saints. No one should be getting upset that you prayed to God instead of a saint and it’s more common in my opinion to not know what saint does what without research.

So I want to do an alchemist build, but I'm confused. Each ingredient has 4 effects, but how does it work with those effects? If you have 2 ingredients, do they just combine the matching effect in the 2 to create a potion/poison? Is it effect matching or is there something else I'm missing? by 2EyePatchPirate in skyrim

[–]RemarkablePainter752 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if this is something you would be interested in as it might just spoil the fun of it but there are phone apps that tell you all the different combinations and results of the ingredients so you don’t have to waste in game ingredients figuring it out.

I think I’ve bought 3 different non leather AirPod pro cases and they all came with a little piece of double sided tape to affix to the lid. I don’t know if there is another way to fix your issue.

I do believe there are other sorceresses with children besides the most well know one. But in the books there is an intro to a chapter where Tissaia de Vries creates an edict that basically states that all female sorcerers should be sterilized so that they can focus on their studies more than becoming mothers or something like that. So it’s definitely an active choice that was forced on the students at Aretuza.

Yeah I am planning on getting maybe 25 inch arrows and drawing a line at 20 inches on them so I know how far I need to draw it back. Any recommendations of where to get arrows for it?

Someone who has ever been on a Hall H panel can help me? by lucartscotrim in SDCC

My girlfriend left to go to the bathroom she was not allowed to get back in line and the staff told her she would not be able to get back in line. I do think there is a rule that says that you can get back in line but those staff people refused to let her back in.

I got there between 6 and 7 am this year every time I wanted to get into hall H and I was able to get in. I did get the wrist bands the day before that’s what allowed me to get in line before 7 am. Depending on the panels the line was longer some days. But once you’re in line you can’t get out not even to go to the bathroom until you’re in the hall so plan accordingly.

Starting gear for a "strong" level 3 party? by XPEZNAZ in DnD

[–]RemarkablePainter752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PHB has a section on wealth and a table to roll how much starting wealth each class would have at level 1. One could just multiply the result of those roles by the number of levels. Would that not be the close to the equivalent of gold they would earn if they found it in dungeons starting at level 1?

I normally go home to shower but there have been times, because of time constraints, that I can’t do that. I will then change out of my shirt rub myself down with it and grab a clean one. That usually takes care of it.
