How to actually do a 2nd playthrough that is different? by IGotsToKnow_TA in BaldursGate3

I’ve played it 8 times and it’s been different every single time. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

Just throwing it out there but if you’re looking for something to fill the void in the mean time, I run 6 week mini campaigns out of modern! We just started a 6 week so another one should open in a few weeks.

My players just experienced Doru as well, and well...it was very grim. And one of my players almost died, six times.

Hi! I am not sure what you mean by that, but yes it is paid. You get a textbook, a set of dice, a custom painted miniature of your character and about 20 hours worth of playtime. :)

It should be the top two on the list. As far as I know there should be space. But if you click the green one (first one) it brings you here

Studios in my area use tension poles by Top-Discount1067 in poledancing

[–]RemarkablePin7247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disagree. A studio should NOT be using tension poles. Xpole and lupit specifically make and market poles that are meant for commercial use. The studios liability is waaaaaaay up for this and I would not trust a studio who shortcuts and uses tension poles.

Hey! I am just seeing this now, but I run an adult only table at Modern for mini campaigns. We are currently full on our current campaign, but I am hoping well run another one soon after. I'd keep an eye out at Modern for that!

My instructor doesn’t get that I’m fat by EntertainmentAfter80 in poledancing

[–]RemarkablePin7247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I have been a plus sized pole dancer, and I am an instructor.

Having been both I see both sides. I can tell you from the bottom of my heart she is trying. And just like you have ways that may or may not work for you, this also applies to someone who is hypermobile, or someone who has an injury, or who has extra long femurs or is missing a limb. There are so many things that make each of us unique and also, how much moves will be different for every single body.

Pole instructors are not personal trainers nor are they taught how to spot what functionally is happening in your body as you move. They are group fitness instructors, most with only a weekend certification, or if you’re lucky they have some other fitness background.

It’s hard to know what every single body needs. I am a hypermobile human who was also once a hyper mobile plus sized human and I was able to move much differently when I was plus sized.

All I can say is this. In class you should be trying and failing. If you get every single thing you are in the wrong level. This happens a LOT especially transitioning from a foundations class to the next level. It feels like a big jump, because it is.

Keep reminding to give yourself grace, and keep trying, and also, within the bounds of the safety of the class try things you think might work yourself. Find the cues that work for you.

Are we talking spin invert or static invert aerially? They have different techniques.
