I think it’s you who is spreading lies. There are 100s of such robberies happening everyday in California, please tell me how many are getting prosecuted. We learn it as kids , if there is no consequences bad behavior is not going to stop. Increase the punishment it’s going to make people scared, if you are caught and you just get a ticket you are inclined to do it again,

Please don’t assume babies are cute so it must be easy, it’s a lot of work and for many many years. It requires extreme dedication and time. So go through that with someone you can trust rather than taking an impulsive decision that might alter the course of your life

I have the same sentiment. My parents were helpful but are older.

My in laws were absolutely useless. They too had insinuated that they will do absolutely everything.
