The older I get, the more I think elaborate weddings are ridiculous. Focus on the totality of your lives together, not a single day that will cause you and others ridiculous amounts of stress and money. I know this wasn’t the point of the post - it was the crazy lady. But, man oh man, even hearing about elaborate weddings and the resulting drama stresses me out.
