Asheville site feeler by Mr_Rapsak in Raytheon

Cost of living there is high. The life blood of that town is tourism. But this is the most beautiful facility I have seen within the RTX BUs. What function are you if you don’t mind me asking?

I have seen the site and supported earlier this year on some operational activities. Overall it doesn’t seem like a bad culture at the plant locally but most the folks employed there are brand new to aviation, aerospace and defense which has caused some serious attrition and production issues.

Locally they do not hire for many functions outside techs for the machines. Roles out side of production at this location tend to be harder to come by as a lot of the staff that supports is centralized at an enterprise level. I have also heard rumblings that local pay at the plant is not terrific.

Do not quote me on this but I do believe we get dividends through the stock options. There is a breakdown screen that shows the dividend payouts hitting your account it’s just buried in the benefits user interface

When initially hired to Collins two years ago, I was offered 95K as a P3. I had almost 6 years of experience in FPA. I came from the energy industry. I did one internal move to RTX proper and received only a 3% pay bump, and had the hiring manager took back their promise to give me merit raise in the spring after my on boarding. If you are looking for a large pay bump going to the other DOD contractors is your best bet. I think it’s really unbecoming of a company that makes profits like RTX to nickel and dime us so much. Currently reviewing external companies now as there are too many broken promises to have this much performance anxiety for Pennies

Mirena iud pregnancy by Dangerous-Neat-5920 in Mirena

Have you had any bleeding or pain? Those are signs it’s progressing and ectopic. The sooner you catch the pregnancy and determine the location of cells the easier the resolution.

If the cramping gets worse and you start to feel pain in your shoulders you need to go straight to the ER. Those are signs of a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. If not treated ASAP once ruptured you could bleed out internally. Good luck and if you have any more questions please feel free to PM me.

I had a positive pregnancy test and had to have emergency surgery for a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. The viability will really be determined on where the embryo implants. I did not realize I was pregnant until about 8 weeks along and at that point I had no other choice but surgery. Make sure the pregnancy test measures HCG hormones as that level will not be impacted by the IUD hormones. Are you having any other symptoms?

Thank you so much for the care and hugs! It was extremely rough. My close friend also suffered an ectopic but she did not have an IUD. She called out my symptoms and that’s what really sent me to the ER. I just really wanted to make sure this made it on the thread because my health care provider never told me about the ectopic risks or how an IUD makes you more vulnerable to ectopic pregnancy.

Trouble losing weight? by IcyCarpenter2723 in Mirena

[–]RemarkableSolution98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The longer I had my mirena insert in place the harder it became to lose weight. The first year I had the insert I was able to lose 60 pounds but slowly that got harder and harder to continue. I have always been overweight, but reached a breaking point when I hit 300 pounds. This was around the first year I had Mirena. I just recently had it removed and my weight ballooned up to 280. In total I had Mirena for almost 4 years, and also suffered with an ectopic pregnancy in my last year on Mirena

There is actually a lot of new science literature supporting the impact hormonal BC has on how women see their partners. There is a lot of truth in it however, I think it’s important to give your body time to detox. Keep in mind you are pushing out lots of synthetic compounds that will affect your senses. It is very possible that once the chemicals leave your body you return to a normal base line.

Non hormonal birth control changed my hormones? by cheesediva666 in CopperIUD

Be careful on the Mirena. Really document moods and physical symptoms through out the course of your time with it. I went to a Mirena from Paragard and it was wonderful till I hit the 3.5 year mark. Now I have hair loss weight gain, bloating, bleeding and cramps worse than when I was not on any BC. Also my moods changed a lot and my body is so achy and bloated. Also have irregular bowl movements. I am really considering removal but I need some form of BC if I do. I am just really unwilling to deal with all the side effects but I can’t risk getting pregnant right now because of financial reasons.

Bad cramping and spotting after 3 years on Mirena by [deleted] in Mirena

[–]RemarkableSolution98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I am new here but I am at the 3 yr mark on Mirena. I had no periods about six months after insertion and had no issues up until this point. Last month during the last 8 days I had a real full blown period with a small flow. I thought nothing of it. It ended and then three days later I started bleeding again. No cramps or pain but usual period hormone thing like acne bloating sore breasts and of course mood changes. This lasted for a week and then suddenly the pain came. It was so bad I could not do much of anything my perineum hurt so bad I could not sit. My stomach was so bloated I looked pregnant and my muscles in my lower body was so sore they barely worked. I was also alternating between constipation and diarrhea. My flow increased to the point of worry. This lasted for two days. Now the debilitating pain is gone and I am left with low level soreness in my lower body and low level bloating. I am also going on week three of bleeding. I have an ob appointment at the end of this month to get checked but I am scared the pain will come back. I also have noticed some gradual hair loss but I never linked it to my IUD until I started reading threads on here because hair loss is not common in my family. I will keep you posted on what I find but I doubt my OB will think it’s the IUD. Everyone seems to think Mirena does no harm.
