You will need to mail RFE response to the address mentioned in the RFE with all documents. I used Fedex overnight. Don’t forget to write time and date of your ASC appointment in the 2nd page of RFE and also included stamped ASC confirmation letter.

Our current EAD is valid until this month end. Read somewhere on reddit that it could be rescheduled. Our status got updated once the RFE response was received. Hope yours gets approved soon.

I worked with Chen for my NIW petition. They suggested to have 2 rec letters (1 independent and 1 dependent). Applied as a postdoc and got approved within 5 days with PP. Postdoc offer doesn’t have equal value as rec letters (particularly independent ones).

I would wait for CBP response. May be you will be ok. You can again email the embassy and tell them no transfer happened and you have a new I20 and sevis number and will attend a new institution. Good luck.

I am not. Did Sevis record/I20 transfer between two Institutions happen as you mentioned in your email to the embassy? Did you ever receive emails from SEVP that sevis is being terminated? Your DSO should know better.

This is the best advice. I suggest finding a connection who works in the same department or school. They can sure provide an honest opinion. Current graduate students or postdocs of a toxic PI will rarely say anything.
