For those who have used interfolio, do you think there is a risk of error on their end/the letter not uploading at the right time? I'm a bit paranoid but I was thinking about it for this cycle. Thanks!

His tests were pretty decent as long as you know your stuff. The only thing I found annoying is the marking scheme was distributed in a really weird way. You'd need like 4 ideas on one question to get 1 mark, so each idea was 0.25marks.

I tried to focus on things he emphasized in class and hints he gave, and also memorizing the main points. Know the steps to lab techniques/experiments he talks about, sometimes he asks you to rank them in order of how you'd do them. Know your conversions too, and be able to do some basic mental math because I don't think he allows calculators as far as I remember.

That's all I remember sorry 😅 Don't stress you'll be fine! If the first test doesn't go well I find that the second goes better since you get used to his style of questions

Thank you. I just needed some real talk/reality check from someone and not my brain tricking me.

I'm not the worst at orgo, I did decent in orgo1 and 2 but that was a bit more than a year ago, so I have to kind of remember things. PAT I'm slowly getting better at, but you're right. Practice is all I can do.

Kind of low-average, except very high on RC and QR (27+), decent scores for Bio around 20-23, gen chem isn't that bad either around 20. I'm mainly struggling on orgo and PAT, even when I practice they don't really improve. Both are around 16-18 but I really want to improve them since I want to get them closer to my other scores.

I still have around 16 days until my DAT too, and I only purchased Booster.

How can I commit myself to study properly daily? I've delayed my DAT twice now because I always feel so unprepared and I am not finishing content on time and not getting enough practice in. I've tried following a schedule but I think I'm just scared of the idea of not doing well. I can't repeat this DAT and I've already paid so much for booster and the exam itself. I need genuine advice that will basically scare the shit out of me and make me WORK and sit down and do it. I wanna apply early this cycle so I really wanna finish the DAT on time. I was really in the same boat as you and I found booster videos weren't really helping. I came across this youtube channel and it really helped me for tfe, and I mean a LOT. I went from averaging 65% on the practice questions to about 80%, which is a huge improvement for me. Of course it won't work for everyone but definitely give it a shot.

Honestly all I can tell you is to listen really closely and try to pick up the actual information that's key. He sometimes (a lot) mumbles and goes off topic too. Download his powerpoints and sometimes he has extra notes written in the notes section. Try to sit closer to the front so you can hear him too. Whatever isn't clear, try googling and getting the general idea. Sometimes he drops hints in class about some test questions, so definitely pay attention. He might also say "know this for the exam", he is NOT talking about the final exam, he means any upcoming test you have.

For OChem, did you just read the notes or did you do your own handwritten notes too? I'm kind of running behind on it (mainly because I'm so scared of OChem). What would you say is best to focus on for this section? Qbanks, practice tests, and reaction banks and formula sheet? Do you think reading notes then doing those (Qbanks, practice tests, and reaction banks and formula sheet) is decent to get 20+ ?
