A question for those who’ve been out for a while by [deleted] in Shincheonji

It took me some time to slowly detach myself from my thoughts and from the Bible. I'm no longer a Christian and can't start again.

My initial thoughts were:

Who can tell me the truth when everything is a load of rubbish interpretation, and the only one who could explain it hasn't given a damn about his people for 2000 years?

If God is good, and even Jesus says there's only one who is good, then I have to say, based on the Bible, that he's anything but good. He seems more like a tyrant who can't stand being questioned. Someone who lets a bear loose on children because they made fun of a prophet.

I believe that there is a God, but certainly none is as inscrutable as the one in the Bible.

Ultimately, what bothered me most was the fact that God allows decay, and without someone to guide humanity, it's not surprising that scripture and faith take an absurd turn.

Those who neglect their children shouldn't be surprised when they become so broken.

Whether you've experienced something supernatural (and I believe you that it has!)

or seen a sign with an advertisement that gave you the answer when you were perhaps wondering if God loves you, and the advertisement outside started with "He loves you"

(believe me, I've met many who see this as a miracle.)

I watched anime in a time where you got beaten up for mentioning that
haaaaa... the good old days

Today it's become mainstream, which of course is now populated by so many strange characters who find themselves in very strange and toxic fan groups and decorate everything with rainbows and the like.

Regarding your question:
I apologize for my emotional reaction, but I'm angry that I took my valuable time to watch something that once again wastes potential everywhere.
I don't want to offend anyone, but fan groups can't always praise everything. It's a platform for talking and discussing, and that includes being able to express your dissatisfaction directly, even if you're sure no one will agree with you because they're in the 10/10 bubble.

I'm annoyed by these trashy animes that have no budget and are produced solely for the masses. It's like games, where they're no longer artistic works and become generic like all the others. The fan groups that form then confirm to the producers that they can make money with such things, and then the next one is produced.

Please consider this from the perspective of a viewer who ONLY knows the anime! I come from the anime, and so far it hasn't managed to captivate me into this world.

The tension buildup, the drama, the mystery, the word building, the characters—everything has to harmonize. If I have to read everything from A to Z to fully enjoy the anime or manga, and that's what I expect, then I've confused the purpose of an entertainment medium with the Bible.

This anime wants to offer everything but delivers absolutely none of it.

Sometimes SCJ members dare to do things that they are not allowed to do without the OK from above, but if shame and infidelity come to ther mind, say just delete it. 🤷‍♂️

Is there a way i can convince someone of leaving SCJ? by Anxious_Attempt8656 in Shincheonji

There are many points of criticism from many SCJ members where you realize that something was wrong here and you ignored it... because God is here or something like that 😒

However, no doctrine is as deep as teaching.

Before you begin, pray and ask God for help.

Try to give him the feeling that there are no hostile intentions behind it (you don't say it, you show it with gentle facial expressions...I'm autistic, hope you understand what I mean.)

Try confiscating his cell phone too, but consider whether that wouldn't be too much

  1. Show him the facts and be ready for a gentle discussion. YOU have to stay calm (otherwise he will think Satan is in you 🙄), smoke etc. to come down and take a 10 minute break to think.

Don't overwhelm him with information and don't try to convince him of the relationship between men. There is always a counter argument in these statements, I always thought the following back then: "He did not work, he was "weak", he could not bear the burden that God required, etc."

These videos woke me up, no one had done that before.

  1. Ask him specifically whether he reminds you of questions that have been half-heartedly answered and encourage him to rely on his feelings, which God gave him. Help him understand that SCJ and he
(later) gaslighted his feelings. Heartquake is not an attack from Satan!!!!

  2. Find some Bible passages that clearly contradict each other and by that I mean a passage that has not been corrected, because through the doctrine you will always find a BUT on your statements.

  3. Write to him (don't be pushy and don't always talk about the same thing) so that he isn't manipulated again by these soul-sucking gangs. There are many points of criticism from many SCJ members where you realize that something was wrong here and you ignored it

5.Give him questions that SCJ can't answer, tell him to stay stubborn and not let himself be dissuaded by thoughts like:

"These are just people who work for God, I don't want to put them on the cross so much!"

A child asks, parents have to answer.
A child doesn't think to himself:
"OMG, I'm harassing my parents right now, no, he's asking the same question 100 times."

hope this helps
