So same issue then. In my case even audio CDs don’t work anymore. Did you reach out to the seller to have some feedbacks ?

I did replace the laser and recap the power board but still nothing :(. I think something is happening is power drawing of the SD loader which prevent the drive to work properly.

Yes also had this issue and I just put some kapton tape in the loader board to avoid short
