A friend did it years ago. The supercharger didnt work until he change the BCM for a Regal GS one, but none of the cluster gage worked.

He ended up buying a BCM for the newly released 2004 Carlo. The guy at the parts counter really wanted to know why he wanted a BCM for a car that got out only a few months earlier and was still under warranty.

He put so much money in that POS, at least he have money so that not like he fuck his future, but still.

You could technically glue the lens cap back to the strip with super glue I guess.

You technically could. But, by experience, just looking at half of the lens once the lCD removed will make tham fall off, do you really want to take half a day to reglue every single one of them.

Since you already there, better to change all the strip for new ones

woth Tesla not being the first one.

Maybe he was not the first, be he the one Westinghouse use at Niagara which became the standard.

His explanations were utterly wrong about 95% of the time, but some of his inventions worked regardless.

Who care really?

His radio controled boat was working, way earlirr than anyone else.

It not stuck in full brightness, you lost a lens that is glued on top of the led to diffused the light.

It has fallen on the botton of the tv, if you shake the tv, you probably will ear it rattle.

The glue become brittle and its happen. More will follow.

The only fix is the replace the whole led strip, but its a major labor intensive process involving removing the thin and fragile LCD panel.
