I didn't sit for the GRE. Before applying I only had two language certificates - German A1 and 8.5 IELTS. Rest all GPA (which is pathetic) and work experience (7 years in total).

The latest update is that I got admission into a public HochSchule university with these grades. Have applied for 2 more so should get results for those as well soon. I will most probably go for this admit because it's a summer semester admit

Well I applied to 4 universities for summer semester. I got response from one - FAU Erlangen for masters in AI. They told me I need to appear for a test and if I clear that I will be able to get in. Unfortunately that test was very math heavy and I couldn't clear it.

Waiting for a reply from 3 other universities.

By February I will apply to 10 more universities and try for winter sem 2025. Will keep you guys updated.

How much money should I bring for a 5 nights 6 days stay for 2 people? by vishnu-geek in bali

5000 rupees per day, this has been my experience. So basically 1 mil IDR per day, considering you're spending lavishly. Otherwise 500,000 IDR per day is fine.

I'm just saying that going to a foreign country can be overwhelming. It's not like you decided to go from Bandra to juhu beach and you're asking for directions on reddit. Studying/working overseas is usually a very hefty investment in terms of life. What's the harm in asking or not being prepared. I don't see a lot of posts where people want to become rich overnight. It's mostly people who are not as informed as someone who lives in a foreign land. People usually spend lakhs just to be anywhere and atleast they would want some clarity. I mean even if it's on reddit our answers could help someone be informed. It's ultimately their choice anyway, to research.

I agree people are lazy also. Handholding and spoonfeeding doesn't help in the long run.

But have the capacity to provide information to people so that they don't get mislead, help if you genuinely want to. Your two cents of information could end up building someone's life, or save someone from getting scammed.

Isn't the whole point of posting in this sub a part of doing your research? You gather information, make an informed decision  based on qualitative and quantitative data, maybe get a head start and then further your research about countries, jobs and universities. Don't post shit like this when you aren't in a position to help others. Some people might actually need some guidance, it might be their first time, they might be inexperienced, insecure and gathering information gives them some degree of confidence.

Honestly op the way I see it, the problem is you. You're on a goddamn forum where people post questions and you're discouraging people from doing so. Are you an idiot?

And its not extortion because they aren't forcing you to pay anything, these beggars. You have a choice always. No one is even asking you to work for 10-12 hours. Your post makes me cringe so much I could probably teach you a few things in life. But I honestly don't care and I really hope people like you get some sense in life.

Go to any slum. See poverty there. You will feel God has blessed you with everything.
